Highlighted Topic: What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is the practice of using the natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being.
The inhaled aroma from these "essential" oils is widely believed to stimulate brain function. Essential oils can also be absorbed through the skin, where they travel through the bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing.
A form of alternative medicine, aromatherapy is gaining momentum. It is used for a variety of applications, including pain relief, mood enhancement and increased cognitive function.
There are a wide number of essential oils available, each with its own healing properties.

NOTE: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in these testimonials, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
The large toe on my left foot began throbbing, it was red at the joint and swollen.
After a couple weeks of this I went to the doctor for x-rays, thinking I must have broken it when I fell a month ago. The doctor did some blood tests first, thinking it was gout. Blood work was fine so she took x-rays and they showed I had arthritis in that toe!
After doing some research on this website, I applied a drop of Copaiba oil to that toe first and then followed with a drop of Wintergreen oil. I did this twice a day, for a week.
Following just a few days, I could bend that toe again and there was no pain. I apply those two oils each morning, using Copaiba first to help draw in the Wintergreen deeper to the joint. I am pleased with the results and grateful for quality essential oils.

When I get a virus, I always seem to get a matching cold sore... lucky me! I usually use a prescription cream but it takes a week to work. So this time, I tried my Young Living oils.
I woke up with a swollen lip and a large bump on my lips. I mixed equal parts of Peppermint oil, Lavender and jojoba oil. I then dipped the q-tip in it and dabbed it directly on the spot. It tingled a bit but I literally saw it decrease in size within 5 minutes! I would have never believed it would work that fast. I reapplied it about 3 times throughout the day and it was gone by the next morning.
No more prescription cream for me.

I am an avid user of Young Living essential oils. This story is a little funny....
My husband has ADD, and I had ordered Cedarwood oil, hoping it would help him focus. However, as per his ADD, he never remembered to use the oil. Then we read about and saw pictures of the results of hair growth from using Cedarwood oil. Guess what?! My husband will remember it for hair growth. (We are all vain, aren't we?)
The most amazing thing has happened. My husband is focusing more, getting on task more easily, and completing tasks more often! What a wonderful "side effect"! As for the hair growth, we are waiting to see that happen. He has only used it for about 3 weeks, so we will keep you posted.
